Threefold Recital

Threefold Recital is a narrative-driven puzzle adventure game that has been shortlisted for Best Narrative Game at this year's IndiePlay Awards. A demo version of the game is now available in advance on Steam for the Steam Next Fest. Players will be able to experience the prologue and the Jingfan chapter (the entire demo takes around one hour), giving a glimpse into the basic gameplay and world of the game. The full version is expected to offer 10-15 hours of playtime, where players will guide three uniquely skilled yokai protagonists, using their special abilities to investigate a series of strange events. However, there seems to be a common mastermind lurking behind these incidents...

Everscape Games invites everyone to try this brand-new demo version. If you have any thoughts or suggestions, feel free to provide feedback to the team via the player community. The team is currently working at full capacity to complete the final development stages and hopes to bring the full game to players as soon as possible.

About Threefold Recital

The story of Threefold Recital takes place in a fantasy Eastern world, where humans, yokai, and dragons have lived together for thousands of years. The prosperous era has long ended, and the once-great city of Qinglong is gradually entering a chaotic age, where Taoist magic, mechanical arts, and ancient forgotten technologies coexist. Deep within the city, unbeknownst to its citizens, new darkness is quietly brewing, threatening to bring an unprecedented crisis.

Many years ago, a wolf, a fox, and a snake listened to a wise man's teachings, awakening their spiritual roots and forming their own paths. They transformed into a monk, a Taoist priest, and a painter.

• Jingfan, the wolf monk, understands the law of causality and can perceive the connections between things, even severing them to destroy those links.
• Sanbao, the fox Taoist priest, is skilled in Taoist magic and can craft strange tools using his alchemy furnace, solving various problems with spells.
• Piyuexiu, the snake painter, is a master of painting and can traverse within his drawings or even disguise himself as others through his paintings.

In addition to experiencing each protagonist's individual story, players will need to switch perspectives and utilize the unique abilities of each character in tandem to solve puzzles, piece together clues, and uncover the truth step by step. In the end, whether they can save the city from this crisis depends on you, the player.

About Everscape Games

Everscape Games is comprised of three experienced developers:

• 布鲁, the producer, with ten years of experience in the gaming industry, was the producer of Hollow Knight and is proficient in 2D side-scrolling game development.
• Zohar, the director, also directed Hollow Knight, and is responsible for character and story design, as well as combat and cinematic design. Zohar has developed several highly acclaimed games and has extensive creative experience.
• 狼小魂, the lead artist, was the chief artist of the highly praised comic series Full Beast Offensive, specializing in detailed and approachable character design.

Everscape Games has been developing Threefold Recital for two years, and the project is now in its final stages, with the team focused on optimizing and refining the game's content.
